We're on the eve of the Supercars hitting the streets of Adelaide and the teams are still pulling the wraps off their new cars.

The latest is Rick Kelly, who's revealed Castrol as his new title sponsor after the oil company upped its involvement.

Castrol memorably backed Larry Perkins' Holdens and Tony Longhurst's Fords through the 90s and into the early 2000s.

Rick is pretty pumped (pun intended).

“Those Castrol colours are pretty revered in Australian motorsport, so it’s definitely special to represent them."

“Castrol has flowed through my life for decades. They were the lubricants in our farming machinery in Mildura, on the bobcats I worked on in my teens, all the way through to my Bathurst victories in 2003 and 2004.

Kelly heads up another four-pronged Nissan assault on the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship with Michael Caruso, Simona De Silvestro and Andre Heimgartner in the other Altimas.

A couple of others cars have also seen the light of day for the first time.

Rookie Richie Stanaway will pilot a #56 Falcon for Tickford.

Another Tickford driver, Cam Waters will drive a brand new Monster-backed Ford.

Practice for this weekend's Adelaide 500 is tomorrow.
