Dust off the XBox.

You're wanted for a national e-Sports competition announced by Supercars today and there's a bumper prize up for grabs.

The Harvey Norman Forza Challenge is all about unearthing Australia's best driver on a virtual Mount Panorama.

Players will clock their best time with the eight fastest qualifiers winning a trip to the real life mountain to see this year's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

We're sounding like the old Demtel guy here, but wait there's more.

The winners will go up against some of the best Supercar drivers including defending champ Shane van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin, Chaz Mostert and Nick Percat.

They'll compete against each other during a live finals event over a ten-race championship to crown an ultimate winner.

There'll also be an All Stars race played in front of a live audience and streamed online.

Supercars boss James Warburton is excited the sport is getting its game on.

"The synergy and popularity of racing games and the sport of Supercars means that an e-Sports Championship in 2018 will become a natural extension of our product offering."

Fans keen on getting their game on can check out a challenge that's being created in Forza Motorsport 6 utilising the Rival component.

But the final series will be contested on Forza Motorsport 7 which will be released on October 3, just a week before the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
