20 years ago today, the world got to meet a little Aussie called Nikki Webster, who stole the show with her amazing performance in the opening ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Games.

This morning, we spoke with Nikki, who revealed the little things that went wrong during the show:

"Someone let go of the jellyfish and it came up and hit me in the feet when I was flying in the sky, I was like 'ooh, hello, what's this doing that?'"
