3 Houses Broken Into In The Same Street

Mackay Police have revealed thieves hit three homes on Brearley Ct in Rural View. The break in's occured between 10pm March 19 and 10.30am Wednesday. Bank cards, identification, cash, keys, alcohol, handbags and wallets were items that were stolen.  Crime Prevention Unit Senior Constable Stephen Smith said  "All houses are just within metres of each other. Home security is very critical and it is the unlocked door and unsecure window that our crooks are seeking. We don't care if it's 3pm or 3am, if people see anything suspicious, let us know as soon as possible.”
