The Rotary Club of Boulder are in the late stages of getting Radio Auction 33 underway. An event "Borrowed" more likely "Stolen" from Esperance has become a Goldfields institution over the years via 6KG and RadioWest. The Auction used to be on air on a Sunday Morning and listeners would ring in with a bid on an item in the lift out of the Kalgoorlie Miner. Now days with technology the auction is all online with the use of Triple M driving the community to get behind the event and get to the website online http://radioauction.net.au/

“The members have been busy over the past 6 weeks emailing and calling local business for donations and sponsors for this year’s Auction. In true Goldfields fashion, we have a lot of long term supporters who come back year after year and donate which is great. Times are tough, and we can appreciate that some people aren’t in a position to contribute, we can all only do so much.” Craig Hicks, Auction Chairman.

If you would like to donate any goods, services or vouchers or become a sponsor please contact Radio Auction Chairman Craig Hicks on 0407 351 619 or sponsorship co-ordinator Keiran Warnock 0427 334 464.

The Auction kicks off with the traditional Murphy Boyden Launch Party on Friday 27th July and runs right through until Saturday 4th August. Tickets are only $25.00 each and includes food and drink for the duration of the evening.
