A 5-Year-Old Boy Has Drowned At Lake Eildon After Falling From A Speedboat

Life will never be the same for the family of this 5-year-old boy who tragically drowned at Lake Eildon after falling from the front of their speed boat around 1pm yesterday.

The boy, who was on holiday with his parents and 2 younger siblings, was pulled underneath the boat and hit by its propeller, sustaining critical injuries before his father was able to pull him from the water.

He died despite parents' efforts to perform CPR and emergency services quick response.

Police are still investigating the exact causes of death.
