"A Bit Premature": Eddie Responds To Reports Brodie Grundy Is Set To Sign A 7-Year Deal To Stay At Collingwood

In-demand Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy looks set to be staying at the Magpies for the long time.

Grundy has been open about his desire to remain at the Magpies, requesting a longterm deal to remain at the 2018 grand finalists, with reports surfacing last night that the Pies had came to the table with a massive 7-year deal for the two-time Best & Fairest winner.

But speaking on The Hot Breakfast this morning, club president Eddie McGuire said those reports where a little "premature".
