A boy's been charged following investigations into alleged break ins in Gordonvale.

Police yesterday arrested a 15-year-old Yarrabah boy after ongoing investigations into a number of break-ins on Wednesday night.

It will be alleged that the boy forced entry into a number of vehicles and a dwelling in the Gordonvale area and stole money and other personal items.

Further investigations revealed that the boy was also involved in an assault and wilful damage incidents late last year.

The boy was later charged with five offences including two counts of entering a premises and committing an indictable offence and one count each of entering a dwelling with intent, common assault and wilful damage.
