If you are one of the millions and millions of gamers (still) addicted to Fortnite, well all those long hours in front of the computer or your gaming console could be about to pay off.
Epic Games, creators of Fortnite, have just announced the first ever "World Cup", scheduled to take place in New York this July.
And it has a mammoth $140,000 prize pool.
So how does it work?
Beginning on April 13 and running through to June 16, there will be 10 weekly Online Open qualifiers.
Incredibly, there will be over $1 million up for grabs each week for the winners.
Once the qualifiers conclude, the top 100 solo players and the top 50 duos teams from around the world, will go head-to-head at the finals in New York City late in July.
The Fortnite World Cup Solo Champion will walk away with $3m, yet, no one goes away empty handed with each player guaranteed at least $50,000 for making it to the Finals.
To be eligible, a player must be at least 13 years old or the equivalent required age in your country.
Players between the ages of 13 and 17 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian and players must be in good standing with respect to any Epic accounts registered.
