You’re not going to believe this, but then maybe you will.
A father in England bought his daughter a toy and discovered that the lyrics to a popular nursery rhyme had been edited.
Steve McCarthy, 31, a courier from County Durham, bought the toy from as a present for his two-year-old daughter but was baffled when he realised the popular lyrics 'baa baa black sheep' had been replaced with 'baa baa sheep sheep'.
So to save some time and be pro active before anybody complains further in this PC world I thought I’d put together a list of songs I’ll no longer play.
Black and White
Back In Black
Black Hole Sun
Paint In Black
Black Is Black
The colour yellow can be associated with cowardice as can a white feather so no longer will I be associated with Yellow River, Tie A yellow Ribbon or Yellow Submarine.
Sorry no more;
Whiter Shade Of Pale
White Cliffs Of Dover or White Christmas
I don’t think Pink will have any future airplay, Green Onions is offensive to vegans, Purple Haze is very offensive to West Coast Eagles fans, Silence is Golden is a no no and don’t even think about Brown Eyed Girl.
What’s good for the goose………..hang on, is that sexist?
How on earth did we get to this point?
