He's back in court next week

12 May 2017

An alleged Anna Bay ice dealer arrested three times on drugs charges in less than three weeks, has been refused bail.

Jason Young faced Raymond Terrace Local Court this morning on ten drug, firearm and proceeds of crime offences.

The 46 year old didn't apply for bail, however it was formally refused.

Mr Young was arrested at his home in Holms Place on Thursday where police allegedly found ice, cannabis, ecstasy, about $12,000 in cash and weapons.

He was previously arrested on April 26 on Gan Gan Rd, with police allegedly uncovering 31 grams of ice in his car.

Mr Young was released on bail the following day.

Two days later he was arrested at Nelson Bay, again allegedly in possession of ice.

He fronted court and a magistrate granted him bail for a second time, angering police.

His case will return to court on May 17.
