The final report on Adani’s Black-throated Finch Management Plan has been completed.
It was handed over to the mining giant by the Department of Environment and Science yesterday to provide them the opportunity to consider the recommendations and provide a response.
There is no time-frame set in stone for this procedure, however the Department has urged Adani to make their decision as quickly as possible.
This is just one of two environmental management plans that need to be approved before the Carmichael Mine project can go ahead, the other being the Groundwater Dependent Ecosystem Management Plan.
