The Adelaide Football Club has today announced that they have cancelled the membership of a man caught posting a racist comment on a photo of Port Adelaide’s Paddy Ryder.

The man, who held a three-game membership at Adelaide, has been suspended indefinitely.

The AFL has come out in support of the Crows, applauding them for their timely action.

This comes after Port Adelaide this morning released a statement condemning the act.

“Racism has no place in the AFL or our society more broadly.

“It is divisive, hurtful and not welcome.”
