Didn't see that coming

Possibly the most anticipated comeback for 2019 has left us deflated following the announcement of the Woodstock Festival lineup today.

The famous 1969 music festival that future generations could only dream of, the festival that put a movement and sound on the map, a festival that saw now world famous rock acts play their first music festival to a sea of hippies is back in 2019 to celebrate its 50th anniversary and to say it's disappointing is an understatement.

Keeping true to its roots with classic rock acts from the original lineup; Santana, John Fogarty, Dead & Company (members of The Grateful Dead), David Crosby and Canned Heat, the lineup is littered with commercial pop acts Jay-Z, Akon and headliner Miley Cyrus.

We are stoked to see The Killers, The Black Keys, Robert Plant, Greta Van Fleet and Aussie acts Brian Cadd and Courtney Barnett on the bill, but for the comeback of the world's most renown music festival we expected more rock. What about the newly reunited The Who or a Led Zeppelin reunion?

Even the 1999 edition with Korn and Kid Rock is better than this lineup.
