Alex Fasolo has made a video to apologise to Carlton fans for drunkenly breaking his arm at an Australia Day party that pretty much looks like a hostage video.

Fasolo looks uncomfortable staring straight ahead at the camera while he reads a scripted apology to the fans and club for letting them down.

Fasolo — wearing a sling in the video — finds himself nervously looking off camera every now and then.

It looks almost exactly like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s own apology video for trying to illegally bring their dogs Pistol and Boo into Australia a few years ago.

Fasolo will miss 6-8 weeks with a broken arm which he copped while play fighting a friend on Australia Day.
