This morning on the show, Ewan was joined by Regional Director of Natural Resources SE, Tim Collins to discuss the Corella issue on the Limestone Coast. 

Corellas have significant impact on school grounds and sporting grounds, which has been bothering residents in the region.

These birds are social and often quite noisy, destructive to aerial cables, they feed on crops and on grass (such as turf on ovals).

Suggestions to minimise Corellas include lethal trap and gas culling program, shooting or scaring strategies, using other birds of prey in the area, or, installing revolving lights on vehicles.
