The news keeps getting better for the Brisbane Lions as skipper Dayne Zorko successfully got through yesterday’s training session, opening himself up for selection for this Thursday’s clash with Geelong at the SCG.

Zorko, who suffered achilles damage against Adelaide two weeks ago, will travel to Sydney with the team. The top-of-the-table Lions flexed their premiership credentials on Saturday making light-work of the previously unbeaten Port Adelaide. However, an in-form Geelong will present a greater challenge.

The Lions will stay in Sydney until at least the end of Round 7 after enjoying four-game winning streak at the Gabba.

Speaking last night on The Rush Hour vice-captain and All-Australian defender Harris Andrews told Dobbo that the time on the road would “galvanize” the team.
