Another Weather Warning Issued Across Melbourne

A severe weather warning has been issued in Melbourne for the second straight weekend by the Bureau of Meteorology.

A strong cold front will move across the state on Saturday night, once again bringing damaging winds with it.

Damaging winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are expected.

Elevated areas are among the highest risk, with gusts up to 110 km/h possible.

The winds are expected to last throughout Saturday night and extend into Sunday morning.
