Anti-Vaxxers Under Spotlight Again with Measles Alert

Anti-vaxxers are under the spotlight again after another Measles alert for Northern NSW. This morning Moffee had a solution for the anti-vaxxers.

The latest news comes as two unvaccinated Australian tourists in their 20's sparked a measles alert in the region with the worst immunisation rates in the country.

While NSW Health is warning visitors to Gold Coast airport and several NSW north coast towns to remain alert for measles symptoms, it's been revealed that the NSW North Coast has the worst rate of fully vaccinated 5 years in Australia at just 90.6 per cent.  It is followed closely by the Gold Coast at 92.2 per cent.

33 cases of the disease have been recorded since Christmas.

The two travellers are thought to have acquired the infection while in the Philippines in mid-March.
