THREE PEOPLE CHARGED FOLLOWING BLACKMANS BAY AGGRAVATED ARMED ROBBERY
Police have charged three people with Aggravated Armed Robbery following an incident at a Blackmans Bay residence early Friday morning.
Around 12.30am a man in his twenties attended a residence in Suncoast Drive, Blackmans Bay where he was allegedly threatened and coerced into electronically transferring an amount of money. His mobile phone and other personal belongings were also stolen.
A 32-year-old Kempton woman, 32-year-old Blackmans Bay man, and a 30-year-old Hobart man, all appeared before the Hobart Magistrates Court over the weekend and were remanded in custody.
The victim and the alleged offenders are known to each other.
The victim did not suffer any significant injuries and his personal belongings were later recovered during a police search of a Mornington residence.
