At least 20 are dead and hundreds more injured after a tsunami hit beaches around Sunda Strait in Indonesia early Sunday morning, government officials say.

The national disaster management agency have said the possible cause of the tsunami were undersea landslides after the Krakatoa volcano erupted.

The agency have warned the death toll is likely to rise.
