Attempted robbery at Watanobbi bakery
Two teens, one with machete.
A Watanobbi bakery owner has managed to scare off two machete-wielding teens, during an attempted robbery overnight.
The unknown boys making their way into the Cutler Drive shop through an open door around 9:30, while staff were out prepping for the next day's trade.
One stood guard with a weapon at the door, while the other made their way behind the counter.
The owner then confronted the pair and they took off empty handed. No one was injured.
Tuggerah Lakes Detectives are on the lookout for two Caucasian males - aged 17 or 18 years old - wearing hoodies at the time.
