Commentary complaints aren't an uncommon occurrence in the sporting world, but one letter sent during the Australian Open has definitely caught the eye.

UK broadcaster Eurosport has read out a letter of complaint about their commentary live on air during the Rafael Nadal/Matthew Ebden clash on Wednesday night, and it's quite bizarre.

LISTEN TO THE LETTER:

The commentator notes that criticism of the broadcast is fairly normal, but there was one letter they'd just received about their coverage that was anything but.

"It's got to the point where every time our pet dog is crossing the room and hears a particularly inane comment on the Australian Open coverage, he turns to us, rolls his eyes, and then cocks a leg and urinates on the screen," he reads.

The story doesn't get any better, with the commentator continuing to read the letter - and how bizarre the listener's scenario gets - after the next point.

Somehow we struggle to believe that one.
