Our great, wide, brown land is known across the world for sun, great beaches, great wine, and great animals that can kill us in an instant.

And this photo that has emerged won't do much to dispel those stories...

A farmer in Bordertown, South Australia has captured a photo of an Eastern brown snake (third deadliest snake in the world) just casually eating and swallowing another Eastern brown snake.

Apparently Eastern brown snakes are known to eat their own, so you know, there's that little nuggest of horrifying information for you to divulge.

Deadly, cannibal snakes... Australia's pretty cooked, ey.
