Benalla Local Picked By Geelong For 2018 AFL Women's Draft

Benalla local, Rebecca Webster, will be wearing navy blue and white after she was selected by Geelong Cats in Pick 7 in the 2018 NAB AFL Women's Draft.

Considered a late birthday present, Rebecca was chosen a day after turning 18 in Geelong's third selection.

She caught the eye of selected after showcasing her talent playing for the Murray Bushrangers, Melbourne Uni, Mooroopna, Kyabram, Vic Country and the AFL Women's Under 18 Academy team.

The talented midfielder/defender impressed selectors with her long kick and strength, making her a top choice for the team.
