Powderfinger have released new music!

Frontman, Aussie music legend, and long-time mate of Marto, Bernard Fanning joined Triple M's Big Breakfast this morning to talk about the new song and talk about all the important things in life... mainly cricket.

Bernard revealed that Powderfinger not only have a new song, 'Day By Day' out today, they will be releasing an album, although they don't know the date yet.

He also spoke about turning down the AFL Grand Final, the fear of "doing a Meatloaf", and how much he loved playing 'The Orient' in Brisbane and was shocked to find out from Margaux that it's now (under new name and identity 'Johnny Ringo's') got a bucking bull!

Yep, Bernard and the rest of the Powderfinger boys are massive cricket nuffs. Could they be any more perfect and true blue Aussie?
