Bernie Vince Clears Up The Relationship Between Tex Walker And Jake Lever

Triple M's Bernie Vince has cleared up the relationship between former teammates Jake Lever and Tex Walker, saying it wasn't a "personal attack".

Walker publicly took aim at Lever after the latter left the Crows at the end of 2017, saying he had chosen "money over success".

Vince, who played alongside Lever at Melbourne late in his career and is close mates with Walker through their time at the Crows, clarified the relationship between the two when quizzed about it.

"I didn't know him before that (moving to Melbourne), but Tex gave him a bit of a clip!" he recalled.

"It wasn't a serious clip...he was shattered that he was leaving, but it wasn't a personal attack."
