Former Adelaide Crows best and fairest Bernie Vince has responded to rumours that the Crows could lose Brad Crouch this trade period.

Rumours surfaced this morning that Adelaide midfield hardnut Brad Crouch was offered a monster contract by the Gold Coast Suns.

Speaking this morning on Triple M Adelaide, Bernie Vince said categorically that the Crows cannot afford to lose their prize midfielder.

If Crouch accepted the offer from the Suns, he would reportedly be joining Richmond's Brandon Ellis as mature-body recruits for the club.
