The countdown to Christmas is on with one day left for last minute shopping.

While we’re all planning the final touches on our Christmas feasts, the team at the Coffs Harbour Fisherman’s Co-op will work through the night preparing for one of the busiest days of the year.

The doors will open from 6am with crowds expected from the moment they open.

Cookie from the Fish Co-op told Triple M, they have plenty of fresh seafood ready for Christmas.

“Nice fresh prawns, local Coffs Harbour wild caught prawns, some beautiful snapper we are about to cut this afternoon to get ready for tomorrow morning”, Cookie said.

This year the Fisherman’s Co-op have also had a bumper year with customers able to order online, with the choice to either pick up their catch, or have it delivered to their front door.

“We do have quite a lot of deliveries to put out there this year as well, so that helps to make it a little bit stress free”, he said.

Trading will run from 6am-5pm on Christmas Eve.
