On Friday 7 December, Smiths Beach Surf Lifesaving Club will be running the annual “Boardies Day” fundraiser.
Get into summer and raise money for safety on West Aussie beaches with Boardies Day
Wear your BOARDIES in the CLASSROOM & BOARDIES in the BOARD ROOM to help save lives on WA beaches this summer!
Boardies Day is a day you can celebrate all that is summer, including the volunteers who are there to save lives between the flags. Even better, you bring the beach vibe to you while you’re doing it!
Your classmates, colleagues and mates will love participating and you’ll be making a difference alongside our iconic volunteer lifesavers.
Every dollar raised through Boardies Day will go towards resourcing vital lifesaving activities and allow the lifesavers to do what they do best, save lives.
The concept is to encourage people to wear boardies for the day in exchange for a gold coin donation.
Register your interest by contacting the club firstname.lastname@example.org or by jumping online and signing up.
Don't forget to nominate Smiths Beach as the recipient and remember every dollar raised goes directly to Smiths Beach SLS club.
