"Bob The Personality": Jeff Kennett Pays Tribute To Bob Hawke
Speaking on Triple M Adelaide.
Bob Hawke has passed away.
The former Prime Minister of Australia passed away peacefully at his Sydney home yesterday at the age of 89.
Past and present Australian and World leaders have heaped praise on the larrikin PM who was equally famous for his quick wit than we was for providing Medicare to Australians.
Speaking to Roo & Ditts on Triple M Adelaide this morning, former Premier of Victoria Jeff Kennett paid tribute to the third longest serving Prime Minister of Australia.
"He's been a very, very good leader," Kennet said.
"Not just for the ALP but for the people of Australia.
"And it's sad that he's gone but he lived a full life.
"We're indebted to him, and to Paul Keating, for the leadership that they provided."
