Sydney is set to swelter through five days of heat, with temperatures set to hit over 40C in some parts of the West.
Kicking-off on Monday, the City will only reach a modest 29C but both Penrith and Liverpool will hit 35C.
Yet, Wednesday is set to be the hottest day of the lot.
Penrith will sizzle at a whopping 43C with the City expected to reach a top of 33C.
Don't expect any cooling down period past Wednesday, as the mercury will stay around the 40's in the west & mid 30's in the city, until at least the end of next weekend.
