Jay-Z broke the deal down and showed how Adelaide can "hold all the cards" in the draft:

"He’s already on about $650,000 a year if he gest the same offer from St Kilda, Carlton, Brisbane to co-pilot with Lachie Neale and even North Melbourne are still looking for star power and Adelaide will get pick 2 if they finish with pick 1”.
