BREAKING: Fire At Steel River Industrial Estate

Firefighters are working hard to contain a fire that's broken out at the Steel River Industrial Estate at Mayfield West.

It's burning within a pile of recycling material at a recycling complex in McIntosh Drive near the CSIRO, and is bringing up a heap of smoke.

Ten fire crews are battling the blaze.

Fire and Rescue NSW says thankfully there aren't any dangerous materials in the pile.
