Emergency services are responding to reports that a light plane has come down at the Orange Regional Airport.

It's believed the 4 seater aircraft crashed on take off, causing it to catch fire. 

Canobolas Zone NSW RFS are currently on the scene, and say that the occupants have been released and are receiving medical attention. 

The Pilot and Co-pilot have reportedly been airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital, in a critical condition.
