BREAKING: Manhunt Launched Over Surfers Paradise Death

Detectives are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with inquiries following the death of a man in Surfers Paradise on Friday.

Officers were called to a house on Markwell Avenue just after 5pm following reports that a man was suffering significant injuries.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The deceased man has been identified as a 38-year-old Gold Coast man Dre Nova.

A post-mortem will be conducted on Sunday to help determine a cause of death.

Investigators are seeking assistance to locate 26-year-old man Coskun Marius, also known as CJ, who may be able to assist with the investigation.

He is described as around 170cm tall, has a dark complexion with short hair, a goatee beard and a large distinctive tattoo on the right side of his neck.

The man was last seen driving a 2017 white Hi-Ace van with Queensland rego 562-XHY around Brisbane's bayside on Saturday.

Members of the public are warned to NOT approach the man or the vehicle and to immediately contact Triple Zero (000) if either are sighted.
