BREAKING: Police Commissioner Grant Stevens - "We Are Not In This To Extend The Lockdown."

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens spoke to Roo and Ditts and confirmed Adelaide has recorded one new case overnight.

"No new cases would've been excellent but if it stops at One that's great. It also depends on just how much movement this infection has had in the community."

Roo asked if there was any chance the lockdown would extend beyond the initial 7 day period. 

"If we only have this one case and things get better from there then 7 days is a real possibility. We are not in this to promote or extend the Lockdown. Play your part by staying home unless you absolutely have to leave."
