BREAKING: School Asked to 'delete' COVID Confirmation Communication

Details are emerging about a bungled line of communication following the closure of Parklands Christian College in Park Ridge.

Speaking on The Big Breakfast this morning 7NEWS reporter Bianca Stone has told Marto, Margaux and Nick Cody that parents who had received confirmation of a female employee’s positive test were told to “delete” any communication so that the Premier could make the announcement this morning.

The female employee in question had previously returned from an interstate trip and the state government is now scrambling to track her movements and whereabouts over the past weeks. The school has been closed for deep cleaning and anyone who has been in contact with employee have been urged to self-isolate.
