Breaking: Wanganui students in lock-down

Wanganui Park Secondary College students have been placed in lock-down as Police response to an incident in the area. 

In a text sent to patents, The Shepparton school advised: "WPSC is in “lockdown” as a precaution. No danger to students, we will notify all parents when lockdown is over." 

It is understood that Victoria Police have responded to a nearby incident involving an individual with a knife.

As a precaution, students have been taken into the stadium until police have given the all clear.

Parents have just been advised that the lock-down has been lifted.
