Brendon Lade Says That Dan Hanneberry Should Play Next Week

St Kilda assistant coach, Brendon Lade, has today said that prized recruit Dan Hannebery is on track to play for Sandringham next weekend.

Hannebery, who arrived from Sydney on five-year deal in the off-season, is yet to play for St Kilda or their VFL affiliate Sandringham.

Speaking at the VFL today, Lade said that Hannebery is tracking well and any barring set backs should be playing against Coburg next Sunday.

“If all goes well next week and he gets through training, he’ll play for Sandy next week, which is exciting for us.

“He’s probably put a four week block together now of hard running and training, and some match simulations at training.”
