New Covid-19 exposure sites have been added overnight following an alert about a traveller who tested positive overseas, who is now in Queensland. 

The new exposure sites are growing, including Brisbane Airport, Riverlink Shopping Centre in North Ipswich and a restaurant in Inala

Meanwhile, the Palaszczuk Government is on high alert after developing news the Covid-19 Delta strain has escaped from New South Wales into Victoria. The government is seriously considering their hard border closure options. 

Strategic Health Consultant Bill Bowtell has told Channel 10 Victoria cannot afford to be complacent this time. 

“We certainly can’t be complacent when less 10 per cent of all Australians tonight are fully vaccinated," he said.
