There are disruptions to the train service this afternoon.

No trains are running from Cabramatta to Regents Park on the T3 Bankstown Line after a person was injured by a train at Chester Hill.

Bus companies have been contacted to run a replacement service.

However, it is understood that these services have not arrived yet.

Trains heading in the direction of the city are instead heading towards Granville.

For those passengers travelling from Cabramatta, Carramar, Villawood, Leightonfield, Chester Hill or Sefton, it is advised to head towards Lidcombe via Granville and change trains.

Transport Management recommends passengers should leave plenty of extra time and listen to announcements.

Trains heading away from the city are still operational.
