Bushfire Break-Out In Cedar Creek And Wongawallan Area

Fire fighters are currently battling another blaze, with reports that a fire has broken out in the Cedar Creek area.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services have issued the following statement:
Seven Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near Jourdana Drive and Rowe Lane, Cedar Creek, and Lanes Road and Elevation Drive, Wongawallan.
This fire broke out at 7am and is posing no threat to property at this time.
Firefighters are working to establish containment lines, and a water bombing aircraft will be operating in the area.
Cedar Creek, Wongawallan and Upper Coomera residents may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the afternoon.
Residents are asked to close windows and doors, and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
