Calls From The Coalface On The Rise In Violence In Our Public Schools

There's been reports around Perth of a disturbing increase in violence in our public schools and this morning, Clairsy, Matt and Kymba put it to the people at the coalface in Perth to call in and share their stories.

Sadly, the phones lit up and we took three calls that should make everyone in Perth stand up and take notice.

Michelle, who works in the system, had this to say:

"there needs a lot more proactivity coming out, there's got to be better policy, there's got to be better support for teachers, parents, students, than what there really is."

It's shocking to think about what could be happening in our public schools. Hopefully, the right people hear what's being said here and moves quickly to do something about it.
