Sure, it's a horrible feeling when your fast food goes cold.

We've all been there, and it sucks. Cold Uber Eats? Not happy.

However, Canberra residents have taken it to the next level with ACT police receiving some ridiculous calls, including about cold fast food.

Other calls include a babysitting request, a call for a ride home, help moving from Sydney to Canberra and a broken window awning.

They've taken to Twitter to try and stop the calls.

It's arguably even worse in the UK, with British media reporting that people have called about a hedgehog, lost trousers, and a KFC running out of chicken (in their defence, that one was an epidemic).

The moral of the story? Next time you've got a problem, think about whether it's truly an emergency. Needing help moving to Canberra probably isn't.
