A new survey suggests there's room for improvement at one of the Central Coast's hospitals when it comes to caring for cancer patients.

The Bureau of Health Information has released new stats, after it asked 12,000 outpatients across the state's clinics just how they felt about their treatment.

Those fighting their battle at Wyong say they fared significantly worse than other New South Wales clinics on several indicators: being told about risks to their treatment, reviewing care plans and whether they felt they were given enough privacy during their care and consultations

Gosford did a little better though, exceeding the state average on eight measures of satisfaction.
