On the back of an impressive JLT series Carlton have announced that they've broken their membership record.

The club posted a video on its socials this morning of Brendon Bolton announcing to his players the club has reached 56,000 members for the first time.

“Always remember what you’re doing is bigger than us,” Bolton said.

“56,006 for the first time ever,”

“And it’s only going north.”

Carlton got the wooden spoon in 2018, finishing the season with only two wins.

However, with the growth of their young core and the off season additions of number one draft pick Sam Walsh and talented forward Mitch McGovern things are looking much better for season 2019.
