Following a record low case numbers on Wednesday, the Albury-Wodonga region has again seen a spike in COVID cases on Thursday.

The number of infections across the Murrumbidgee has been revealed, with a further 36 cases recorded in the district.

The expectation is the fluctuating numbers will continue, with border citizens not out of the wood yet.
The case breakdown of the 36 cases in the MLHD as of 8pm on Wednesday night include two cases in Greater Hume, two in Griffith, and one case in the Lockhart area.
Rapid Antigen Tests are now being used across the border schools, hospitals and more in an attempt to control any future spread of the virus.
