We are all very familiar with the adorable Cavoodle breed, which is why it’s no surprise that they have now been named Australia’s most sought after dog of the year.

Being the mix of a cavalier King Charles spaniel and a toy poodle, Cavoodels are just the epitome of cuteness.

What isn’t so cute, is the price! To buy a Cavoodel can range anywhere from $2,500 to $6,000.

According to Pet Insurance Australia, more policies have been taken out for Cavalier Poodle Cross than any other breed.

While the demand for a Cavoodel companion has increased during Covid-19, French Bulldogs closely followed in second place.

Included in the top 5 most sought after dogs were, Golden Retrievers, Labradors and Border Collies.
