The Rush Hour with Bernie and Jars welcomed Port's GM of Football Chris Davies on the show during a huge week (month) for the club and footy in general.

Davies was very open with where things are at and spoke about their preparation for life in The Hub. He told us the decision wasn't one they wanted but it didn't totally blindside them.

Plus how they'll speak to players and when they'll head interstate: "with the government saying we can’t do contact sport until June the 8th that will put us too far behind from a preparation perspective."

"I noted today the Government gave their two sides exemption as of the 25th of May. Being two weeks behind that isn’t ideal, so it’s looking like we’ll have to head intestate and finalise our preparation for the 2020 season hopefully in Queensland."

Davies noting that "I don't believe what they did helped..." about the Crows training breach. That doesn't tie in with what The Chief Health Officer for SA told Roo & Ditts earlier in the week, but maybe we'll never know how much that incident mattered.
